Wonderful Weekend Weather

I didn't mean for that to come out as quite the simile, but oh well! We did have a magnificent weekend in the Loops. With temperatures reaching 14C on Saturday, and 16C on Sunday, who could complain!?! Fletcher and I did lots of gardening, as last year was our first spring in the new home and we had no idea what to expect. Now that we know what flowers (and weeds) are abundant, we went hacking. It was very satisfying to look at once we were done. We will be replacing the old and tired looking bark mulch chips with lava rock (or similar) in the front garden, so it looks very barren right now. I'm saving the heavy work, like shoveling rocks, for when Daryl comes home! 2 more sleeps! Photos to follow.
