No, I haven't forgotten about my promise to update the blog on a regular basis, I just thought that I should include some photos with the recent happenings. Well, as it turns out, I don't have any photos today. But I will tell you what's been going on...and you can use you imagination until I post the visuals.
Hardwood Floors: Daryl and I decided that gone were the days of carpet and icky tile from our home. We are installing hardwood floors throughout the main floor and downstairs where the icky tile was previously found. I have spent the last few days preparing the areas, clearing furniture, removing the baseboards and even some of the old carpet. It's a total war zone - but will look amazing when we're done.
Planter Box: My dad was over at our place last week for the construction of my 4x4 planter box along the front of the house. At over 40' in length, with multiple levels and a log-cabin look to it - I'm so impressed with the final result. I've started putting some more earth and plants in there so they are set for the coming winter.
Spring Bulbs: I've never planted spring bulbs before...we'll see what survives!
