Pool Time!

I'll add more photos of the pool...but here's a cute one of g-mama and G-girl snuggling after an hour of splash time. I'm so thankful that g-mama hasn't passed on her fear of water to the wee one!

Some Mama Time

As any mom knows, a few precious hours of peace and quite come rarely in the household of a 1 year old. I took advantage of Grand-mama's offer to babysit over lunch and decided to head to the salon - the first time in a year - and get my locks chopped.

With just a few very short days left before our departure for France, I wanted a fresh and easy look that is both modern shique and easy to maintain. I have no idea what that means...but this is the result.

Guilty!

I was vacuuming the upstairs hall today as Gabrielle was quietly entertaining herself. New mama's note to self - quite means trouble. Somehow, somewhere, G found a bag of Cheerios and proceeded to distribute them across the floor of our bedroom.

Fortunately, she loves O's and ate them all up before Fletcher came in!

We found Gabrielle hiding in one of the storage bins - do you think she is claustrophobic like her papa - or likes caves like her mama?Baby buried in the sand...at least we can keep up to her this way!

Whistler Weekend

A few weekends ago, Gabrielle and I drove down to Whistler to visit with Daryl who is there working. We had a wonderful weekend - great weather and lots of yummy food! Gabrielle sure had fun playing on the mountain, running through the village and causing general chaos and pandemonium wherever she went! Can't wait to go back!
