20 Weeks

This poor bug-a-lug. They say the second and subsequent children are neglected when compared to the overwhelming excitement and anticipation of the first...and unfortunately, I have to admit this has been true in our home as well. It's not to say we're not excited or eager for this little bundle...it's that there is just so much going on with Gabrielle and life that we hardly have time to feel the kicks and squirms these days!

I think the other major factor in the inattention paid to said second child is the fact that at 20 weeks I've gained just over 3lbs (1.5kg) and have no real visible sign of a belly bump. Even with Gabrielle at this stage I was showing something!

Well, here I am, at 20 weeks...this is only the second photo taken specifically to show off the belly...maybe we'll wait 2 weeks, or a month next time if nothing changes!
