75th BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION!!

On Sunday we celebrated my dad's 75th Birthday with a great party in White Rock. About 40 close friends and family attended the afternoon/evening festivities, with Daryl cooking up a feast of a roast beef and salmon on the BBQ. The sangria was a hit! Thanks to all who brought salads and appetizers, my mom only seemed to cook for 90 people, rather than the usual 200! Papa was most certainly surprised by it all, not suspecting a thing, wondering why we had purchased a 5kg roast for 6 people! Will he ever learn? A delicious cake topped off the meal made by Hanz, the same baker who made Daryl and my wedding cake a year ago.
