Gabrielle - August 11 and holding her head up...and smiling like the goof we know she is!
August...Already!

Happy belated B-Day to my dad - we did have dinner together on the 9th in celebration prior to his departure for Golden...for work. How many other 77 year olds do you know that still work...and like it! What a trooper!

It's been a crazy few weeks. Gabrielle and I travelled to Vancouver with Daryl last week and purchased our camping truck - a 1994 F-350 which will just be awesome with the camper and boat. We're getting a new stereo and speakers installed, and an alarm system. Gabrielle seemed to really like it as she slept most of the way from Abbotsford to the Loops on Friday - well done!

Daryl is gone this week, and my mom is still in Vancouver following my parent's trip to Salt Spring Island, awaiting the arrival of my aunt, Eleanor, from Owen Sound. They should be back to the Loops on Wednesday - so until then, it is just the two of us. Today we had a pretty good day. I am being very diligent about her naps, and she is doing better every day. Gabrielle is on a pro-biotic called Bio-Gaia which is suppose to be helping with her digestive track and rid her of some of the gas. The poor little thing had such bad gas that she would make a trucker blush! It seems to be helping a bit - but we still have a some-what cranky baby most of the day. At almost 4 months, we're hoping that she will out-grow this soon! I miss her smiles.

Now for some photos...
