Thank you so much for the encouraging words about Daisy...
That picture is when we first met her in Whistler! Hard to believe she was ever that little; a 30lb fluffy polar cub! Now she is a clumsy 90 lbs and frisky as ever; unfortunately her back hips and knees are so arthritic and swollen now she is really hobbling around & her body has seemed to give out on her. We are so lucky to have her in our lives and enjoy every day with her! Mentally, she is amazing. Obedient, mellow ("lazy-Daisy" is her name), non-destructive and gentle, plays when you want her to and doesn't have to be walked every day! (Now, THAT's a great dog!) We knew going in that she would have physical limitations but in our hearts she was the dog for us and we are a better family for it! :) Hugs to you all, from the Schuelers & Daisy in Ktown.
